３月６日に本校バカロレアコースの高１・２年生を対象にグローバル３大学をお招きして大学進学説明会を開催しました。東京の国際基督教大学（ICU）、大分県別府の立命館アジアパシフィック大学（APU）、東京キャンパスに加えて今年、京都キャンパスを開設したテンプル大学ジャパン（TUJ）、の３校は、いずれも日本のキャンパスで多くの留学生に囲まれながら、グローバルに深く、広く学ぶことができる特徴のある大学ばかりです。
その中で本物のリベラルアーツ教育を一貫して実践し続けるICU、国内学生と国際学生が半々で１００か国以上の学生が混ざり学ぶAPU、キャンパスは完全にアメリカの大学であるTUJ各校より、熱く、それぞれの魅力を語っていただきました。

IBコース生にとっても多面的な角度からグローバルとは、地球市民とは等の問いに向き合える時間であったと思います。また、説明会終了後にも残って熱心に担当者に質問をする生徒も見え、大学選択に向けての一助になったと思います。

Global Three Universities Admissions Information Session Held
On March 6th, we hosted a university admissions information session for first- and second-year students of the International Baccalaureate (IB) course, welcoming representatives from three global universities. The session featured International Christian University (ICU) from Tokyo, Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU) from Beppu, Oita Prefecture, and Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ), which recently expanded by opening a new Kyoto campus in addition to its Tokyo location. All three universities offer unique opportunities to engage in deep and broad global learning while being surrounded by many international students on their campuses in Japan.
During the session, ICU passionately spoke about its dedication to authentic liberal arts education, APU highlighted its diverse student body, where domestic and international students are evenly split among over 100 nationalities, and TUJ emphasized its fully American-style university environment. Each university showcased its distinct appeal, sparking great interest among the students.
For IB course students, this event provided a valuable opportunity to reflect on questions such as what it truly means to be "global" and a "global citizen" from multiple perspectives. Even after the session ended, some students remained to ask questions enthusiastically to the representatives, demonstrating their eagerness to explore their future university options.
