6月3日に、オーストラリア、ボンド大学の国際部門マネージャーが本校を訪問し、IBコース生（１～３年生）に対して説明を行いました。ボンド大学はゴールドコーストに位置し、サーファーズパラダイスをはじめ世界的に有名な観光地の近くに、開放的なキャンパス、充実した大学施設を構えます。小規模で少人数教育による講義、ゼミ、学生サポートを特長としており、優良な小規模大学のTHE世界ランキング８位であり、また、オーストラリアで最も学生満足度の高い大学です。
アルゼンチン出身、日本在住経験もあるマネージャーからのプレゼン
マネージャーからはゴールドコーストでの生活、学び、暮らす環境の素晴らしさに加えて、ボンド大学の特長の説明がありました。一般的なオーストラリアの大学が学部３年履修となることに対して、３学期制を採用するボンド大学では２年間で学部卒業が可能。学部の２年間と卒業後２年間のビジネス経験を積むことにより、例えば日本の大学で４年間勉強することに比べて、キャリア構築をスピーディに進められます。もちろん、現地での就職にあたっても手厚いサポートがあります。
また、オーストラリアの大学では一般的ですが、ボンド大学も入学の判定は高校の成績（IBスコア）のみで行われるシンプルなもので、奨学金支給もスコアによって決定されます。
日本の大学も海外の大学もやはり、日々の学びが大事なことは同じです。

【Overseas Study】Visitor from Bond University
On June 3rd, the International Regional Manager from Bond University in Australia visited our school and gave a presentation to the IB course students (grades 1-3). Bond University is located on the Gold Coast, near world-famous tourist destinations such as Surfers Paradise. The university features an open campus and extensive facilities. Known for its small-scale and individualized education through lectures, seminars, and student support, Bond University ranks 8th in the world among top small universities(THE rankings) and boasts the highest student satisfaction in Australia.
The manager explained the appeal of living, studying, and residing on the Gold Coast, as well as the unique features of Bond University. Unlike typical Australian universities that require three years for undergraduate studies, Bond University adopts a trimester system, allowing students to graduate in two year. By completing a two-year undergraduate program and gaining two years of business experience post-graduation, students can build their careers more quickly compared to studying for four years at a Japanese university. Naturally, there is also comprehensive support for local employment.
Additionally, as is common in Australian universities, Bond University’s admission decisions are based solely on high school grades (IB scores), and scholarships are also determined by these scores.
Whether in Japanese or overseas universities, the importance of daily learning remains the same.
